Dan Parizo

  • Mr. Parizo began martial arts training in 2011 while working on an advanced academic terminal degree. He was hooked immediately despite starting a bit later in life than the average competitor. He is a 1st Degree Black Belt in our Traditional system and a White belt in jiu-jitsu.

The personal growth, fitness, and experiential learning gave him a foothold to develop personally and professionally.

Mr. Parizo learned leadership from watching youth development. As a family, both of his children (now in their twenties) earned their black belts before him and began leading adult classes while he was one of their students! This provided a unique perspective for helping develop youth leadership.

Mr. Parizo is a continual learner having a B.S. in Computer Science, M.S. in Information Systems, and a Ph.D. In Applied Management and Decision Sciences. He is also a consummate hobbyist having a pilot’s license, distiller’s license, drones, laser engravers, and more.  One constant is the training, acceptance, and feelings of inclusiveness and family that WI-MAFC offers to everyone!

I encourage anyone reading this to come join our training! It changed my life! It will be my privilege to be the first to welcome you with any bad-dad joke I can think of at the moment!
